Nottingham Forest appear to have gone from one extreme to the other by swapping Nuno Espírito Santo for Ange Postecoglou but it might just work.
Nuno was sacked in the early hours of Tuesday morning, two weeks after publicly saying his relationship with owner Evangelos Marinakis had changed for the worse.
From that moment, his departure felt almost inevitable so it is no surprise that Forest have his replacement lined up so soon.
On paper, these are polar opposite managers. Postecoglou played all-out attack at Spurs, whilst Nuno's success at Forest was based on defence.
Postecoglou's Spurs finished last season just one place above the Premier League relegation zone but the difference in approach is clear when you see, despite the lowly finish, Spurs scored six more goals than Forest who finished seventh.
The Australian was accused of stubbornness in not changing his style of play as Spurs conceded more and more goals.
But in the latter stages of the Europa League, we saw a different side. A tremendous defensive display against Manchester United in the final meant Spurs won their first trophy for 17 years.
He clarified that his approach to the league and cup is different. If he can perhaps merge the two at Forest we could be in for some glorious days in the East Midlands.
