Derby County have the third-highest average attendance in the Championship so far, with two sides relegated from the Premier League above them.
After playing twice at Pride Park this season, [the Rams](https://www.derbytelegraph.co.uk/all-about/derby-county) have an average home gate of 29,157 to underline the power of their home crowds this term.
East Midlands rivals Leicester City currently sit at the top of the tree with an average gate of 31,037 while Southampton, also relegated from the top flight last term, are second with 29,946.
Derby's average puts them above Ipswich who are fourth while Coventry City sit in fifth place with both clubs posting average gates of more than 29,000.
Last season, Derby posted the third-highest gates in the Championship with Leeds of more than 36,000 being in second place while Sunderland topped the charts with 41,000.
Sheffield Wednesday had the sixth best average attendance in the league last term with 26,636 but they are averaging 20,712 this season, largely owing to discontent at the way owner Dejphon Chansiri is running the club.
Derby are away again this weekend with the Rams set to travel to West Brom, but they are back at Pride Park the following week when they welcome Preston North End to Pride Park.
