NBA scouts were not impressed by Kristaps Porzingis’ performance at EuroBasket 2025. Reportedly, they felt he did not look like the type of impact player they are used to seeing.
The hosts of EuroBasket 2025, Latvia, have already concluded their tournament with a loss to Lithuania in the Round of 16.

Their NBA star, Kristaps Porzingis, led the team, scoring 34 points and grabbing 19 rebounds in the final game, but he was ultimately unable to carry his team to the next stage.
Despite being the team leader throughout the tournament, NBA scouts were reportedly not impressed by his performance.
"Scouts were not blown away by the way Kristaps Porzingis looked. They felt he looked—not the sort of impact player they’re used to seeing," ESPN's Brian Windhorst reported on The Hoop Collective podcast.
"He admitted that while he feels better than he did in the spring, he still has a way to go. He’s not back to the full health that he was at," he added.
Porzingis finished the tournament with averages of 20.2 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks per game.
Next season, he will start with a new team, joining the Atlanta Hawks after being traded from the Boston Celtics this offseason.
