To make up for Elliott missing at least two games, the Steelers chose to bring in Jabrill Peppers.

Elliott suffered the injury when he was tied up with New York Jets running back Breece Hall. After his knee bent awkwardly due to the tackle, he was seen on the ground clutching his leg.

Initially, the injury appeared to be serious, and Elliott was writhing in pain. Things could have gone far worse for Elliott, but it appears taht he will only miss two games.

Elliott is attempting to make it back by the time the Steelers fly to Dublin, Ireland, to take on the Minnesota Vikings in the NFL's newest International Series game.

As stated, the Steelers are now bringing on Peppers, who most recently played with the New England Patriots. The longtime veteran was surprisingly released by the team late in August, leading to Pittsburgh bringing him on.

The Steelers started the season off 1-0, after a hard-fought victory against the New York Jets. The team secured a last-second field goal, propelling the team to a 34-32 win.

Aaron Rodgers looked every bit of his old self, tossing four touchdowns in his debut with the Steelers.

Despite the Steelers' defense giving up more points than they had hoped to, the win was secured. Now, the team is not taking any chances.

With Elliott having to heal from his injury, Peppers will come in to replace him.
