“Absolute Animal”–Arsenal Star Tipped To Outperform Liverpool And Man Utd Stars Ahead Of Nottingham Forest Clash

Arsenal star Viktor Gyokeres has been tipped to outperform Liverpool’s Hugo Ekitike and Man United’s Benjamin Sesko this season.

The Gunners will come out of the international break in a decent position, having won two of their three opening games so far this season. Their next game is against Nottingham Forest, who just appointed former Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou as their new manager following the sacking of Nuno Espirito Santo.

Mikel Arteta will hope that his side can overcome Postecoglou yet again, and striker Viktor Gyokeres will be desperate to make an impact.

The Swedish international has scored two goals for Arsenal so far, they both came in the 5-0 win against Leeds United last month, but he’s now ready to kick on. Over the course of the season, Gyokeres will likely be compared to the two strikers that Liverpool and Man United signed: Benjamin Sesko and Hugo Ekitike.

Sesko is yet to score for Man United, as he hasn’t really had the chance under Amorim yet, whereas Ekitike has performed very well for Liverpool, although the Reds did sign Alexander Isak too.

Arsenal told Gyokeres will outperform Sesko and Ekitike

Amid the comparisons of the trio, former Scotland international Kris Boyd has said that Gyokeres will be the best of the bunch, and that he could really be the difference for Arsenal this season.

He was quoted in the Metro: “I have always been a huge fan of Viktor Gyokeres, and I believe that he will have the most success out of these three players. If you look at the size of him, he’s an absolute animal of a striker, a proper powerhouse to lead the line for a club that has been short of a striker for years.

“My concern with Ekitike is that Liverpool have signed a new striker, so game-time could quickly become limited for him or more inconsistent. Benjamin Sesko is in a slightly tougher situation.

“Man United have signed some brilliant attacking talent in Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha, but I think they will be more selfish and create more chances for themselves rather than looking for Sesko.”
