Four goals in four for club and country | Team mate makes huge Lucas Paquetá claim

NOT only back on the scoresheet with West Ham, Lucas Paquetá is back on the international stage with a bang. West Ham fans may not have seen their Brazilian #10 perform in the green and gold of Brazil what with the time differences – but Paquetá has been turning heads with his return to form as noteworthy for the national side as it is when performing as a Hammer. And it has been grabbing the media attention in South America.

For a recent interview with ESPN, long time friend and team mate Bruno Guimaeres has claimed that with the threat of the FA inquiry now gone forever, Brazil’s magnifico is back to his carefree self once again;

”*He now looks like the Paquetá of Flamengo and Lyon that I met. A happy, cheerful and content kid, who is always laughing and playing. He started the season on the right foot, despite being left-handed [footed], scoring a lot of goals”, he celebrated.”*

Jarrod Bowen of course made his own observations that Lucas Paquetá was back to playing at his best and enjoying his football, with a smile on his face:

“He just looks like the weight has been lifted off his shoulders” Bowen told whufc.com. “I think for him to have a positive outcome, we will see the Lucas we know”

It seems to Lucas Paquetá’s huge credit that he has emerged from some very dark days on both a personal and professional level with a smile and with quite possibly the best years of his footballing career ahead of him.

And at West Ham, we get to have a ringside seat. And you wouldn’t bet against him scoring again tonight as Brazil take on Bolivia just after midnight- with a yellow card thrown in for good measure.
