The Philadelphia Eagles have finally learned of Jalen Carter’s punishment for spitting on Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott. The incident happened before a single offensive snap took place in the 2025 season.
While Carter was wrong, many fans have annotated how Prescott initiated the incident by spitting on the ground in front of Carter. Nonetheless, Carter has been levied with a massive punishment.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN:
NFL is fining Eagles DT Jalen Carter $57,222 for spitting on Dak Prescott. The league also says the game he was ejected for will serve as a one-game suspension.
“After talking to the Eagles, the NFL and the NFLPA, Jalen has decided not to appeal and focus on the Chiefs game,” said Carter’s agent Drew Rosenhaus.
