Pat Beverley Has High Praise For Stephen Curry

Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors truly is in a league all his own when it comes to shooting.

Other players may try to be like him, but they don’t come close.

It’s not just fans and analysts who feel this way, because professional basketball players hold the same opinion.

Patrick Beverley talked about comparisons to Curry and said that “no one is close” to the Warriors superstar.

“No one’s like him. Let’s get that clear. No one’s like him at all. No one would even be close to him. It’s no one close to him. He’s the best shooter to ever touch the ball. No one is ever close to him. You can ask any basketball player,” Beverley said.

Pat Bev had to let Neon know there’s no one that can shoot like Steph Curry 😅

“You know who gives me a resemblance of (Steph Curry)? Fred VanVleet.”

“No. No one is close to Steph Curry..”

Beverley did add that Fred VanVleet of the Houston Rockets has a “resemblance” to Curry, but even he isn’t near Curry and his incredible shooting abilities.

Although he’s not in the league right now, Beverley spent years in the NBA and got to see Curry’s powers up close, often.

He knows just how hard it is to defend the Warriors’ star because he can shoot from just about anywhere.

It doesn’t matter if it’s in the paint or from far beyond the three-point line; Curry has an uncanny skill to sink the ball.

Last season, Curry averaged 24.5 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 6.0 assists on 44.8 percent from the field and 39.7 percent from the three-point line.

He once again had the most three-point attempts and three-pointers made for the whole league, again proving that no one can score like him.

Beverley is just one of many people watching Curry with total awe.

There really isn’t anyone like him, and there may never be.
