Bill Belichick ex girlfriend
Bill Belichick has the kind of reputation that only a few can match in football. Over 20 years with the New England Patriots, he led the Patriots to six Super Bowl wins and turned simple phrases into the team’s mottos that fans still chant to date. Words like “Do Your Job”, “Ignore the Noise”, “The Belestrator” and “No Days Off” became part of the Patriots’ identity.
Now, at 73, Belichick is currently coaching in college football as a head coach for the North Carolina Tar Heels, a decision that surprised many, as he moved from the pro ranks to the college team. He took the job in late 2024 after many successes in pro football. His girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, 24, has been by his side through this change.
The two met a few years back and have drawn attention due to the vast gaps in their age. Hudson runs TCE Rights Management, a company that handles branding efforts. In April, they filed for several trademarks through this group.
These included twists on Belichick’s old sayings, like “Do Your Job (Bill’s Version)” and “Ignore the Noise (Bill’s Version).” With the aim to use them for books, clothes, and media projects that include films. But last week, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office turned down four of these requests.
The reason? They clashed with marks already held by the Patriots. The team registered “Do Your Job” back in 2013, “No Days Off” and “Ignore the Noise” in 2017, and “The Belestrator” in 2009.
Four Bill Belichick-Jordon Hudson trademark applications were denied by the U.S. Patent Office, with the rights reportedly held by the New England Patriots, per ESPN.

“The Belestrator” usually refers to the coach’s famous way of breaking down game film. The office said the new versions could confuse people about who owns what. Trademark lawyer Josh Gerben explained it plainly, as reported by ESPN:
“It was very obvious that the USPTO would refuse these applications from the start. They’re too similar. Like, I can’t say I’m going to make ‘Nike shoes (Josh’s version).’ Once somebody has a trademark registered on a name or a phrase, you’re not able to just simply add something to it and get it registered.”
The Patriots refused to comment on the issue. So did UNC and TCE’s lawyer. Belichick and Hudson allegedly have three months to challenge the ruling. Although not all filings failed. Others like “The Belichick Way” and “Chapel Bill (Bill’s Version)” experience no setback as reported. “Chapel Bill” nods to UNC’s home in Chapel Hill.
Tar Heels Eye Redemption in Upcoming Games After Early Season Struggles
The 2025 season began with dual results under Belichick’s leadership. His season opener against TCU on Sep 1 came crashing down, 48-14. The defeat revealed weaknesses in the Tar Heels’ defense and offense rotation. But he did redeem himself in week two match-up with Charlotte, ending 20-3 on the road. The victory came as some relief, with strong play by the line and big stops.
The team is shooting for bowl eligibility at the minimum, having finished 6-6 a year ago under the previous coach. Recruiting has improved since Belichick arrived, bringing in talent because of his resume in the NFL.
But victories on the field are most important now. This off-field distraction may test his concentration. But Belichick has weathered pressure. The team would like to ride it to perform better. Depth in the quarterback position and secondary will be key. Belichick’s record speaks of adaptability. The Tar Heels would be surprised if they get it together on time.
