Game No. 1 for Micah Parsons in a Green Bay Packers uniform is over, as he helped his new team defeat the visiting Detroit Lions last Sunday at Lambeau Field, 27-13.
He made sure to get a sack in his Packers debut when he went after Lions quarterback Jared Goff out of the pocket late in the fourth quarter, as fans inside the stadium erupted over the sight of the team’s offseason trade acquisition showing a glimpse of his terrifying abilities on defense.
Parsons didn’t have a full training camp with the Packers. He also did not have one with the Dallas Cowboys before his trade. But one thing he made sure of before his first appearance on the field as a Packer was to set his fantasy football lineup, which also features one of his teammates on Green Bay’s stop unit.

On Tuesday, Parsons flexed his fantasy football roster on social media, sharing his lineup via Instagram Stories.
“In case yall doubt the line up,” Parsonswrote on the post.

The lineup included linebacker Edgerrin Cooper, who balled out against the Lions. Cooper had 12 combined tackles (12 solo) in Week 1 to lead Green Bay, netting Parsons’ fantasy football team 36 points.
“They saw me pick up Coop and they was like, ‘What you know?’” Parsons told reporters (h/t

Added Parsons:
“He’s part of my starting lineup and I expect that type of tenacity, that effort every game.”
Parsons and Cooper have another challenge ahead of them, as Green Bay prepares for a Week 2matchup against the Washington Commanders, who have the dynamic Jayden Daniels under center.
