There is currently a lot of uncertainty surrounding Russell Westbrook’s future in the NBA. The former MVP is currently a free agent after parting ways with the Denver Nuggets, and apart from the Sacramento Kings, there is reportedly not much interest in the nine-time All-Star heading into his 18th season in the league.
What cannot be denied, however, is that Westbrook has continued to make moves off the court. On Tuesday, the 36-year-old announced that his tech company, RW Digital, is partnering with leading analytics and measurement giant Comscore.
In a statement published on PR Newsire, Westbrook explained the importance of this move for his company and its clients.
“At RW Digital, our mission is to make sure diverse communities are seen, heard, and respected in the digital world,” said Westbrook. “Partnering with Comscore allows us to combine cultural relevance with privacy-first precision, giving brands a better way to connect with people without compromising trust.”

This partnership marks an important milestone for RW Digital. Teaming up with Comscore builds instant credibility for the company, which is determined to prove to its clients that it is a relevant venture that is plugged into serious tech, as opposed to a celebrity side project.
Westbrook’s digital advertising agency also aims to focus on multicultural groups while prioritizing customer privacy. The numbers highlighted in the press release (high click-through and video completion rates) show a proven track record, which should entice potential clients to sign with RW Digital.
On a personal level, Westbrook’s tech company is just part of the Russell Westbrook Enterprises group of companies. He has a streetwear fashion brand, Honor The Gift, as well as the Russell Westbrook Why Not? Foundation.
There’s no denying that the two-time NBA scoring champ has already entered the twilight years of his career, but he’s also already geared up for his life after basketball.
