CSKA Moscow’s 19‑year‑old prodigy Kirill Glebov is quietly but firmly setting his sights on Manchester United. Arsenal, Villa, Newcastle, they’re all tracking him, but he only has one club on his mind: United.
The teen has burst onto the scene since breaking into CSKA’s first team in 2023. Already, he’s made 54 senior appearances, racking up 14 goal contributions from that right-left-18-yard role that so many young attackers thrive in. He was even in red-hot form before a hip injury slowed him down, with three goals and an assist in his last six league games. That track record earned him a Russian national team call-up too.

Right now, Glebov’s market value is about €1.5 million, practically a steal. Arsenal have been admiring him from afar, thinking long term. Newcastle and Villa have also stirred, admiring his technique and adaptability. All three clubs see his talent clearly.
But Glebov has a very different pitch he’s playing in his head. Word is he won’t go anywhere unless United come calling. Why? He’s grown up idolizing that place. He knows the history, he loves the vibe, and he reveres Sir Alex Ferguson. It’s more than a job, it’s a calling.

If United do launch a move, they’ll have a clear path. Glebov fits the mold of what Ruben Amorim is building toward, hungry, technically savvy, versatile, and with plenty of room to grow. Whether he starts off as a rotation piece or is loaned out for seasoning, the foundations are there.
Forestalling a bidding war with Arsenal or anyone else would still require a fee, as CSKA aren’t giving him away, but nothing like the eye‑watering prices often bandied about. And United? A player in waiting like that, on the right trajectory, makes too much sense to ignore.
If things align next January or summer, you could very well see United landing another young gem, and this one, at least, wants to be in red.
