Matt Jarvis has praised one of Manchester City’s attacking players, saying he’s “different” and “gets you off your seat”.
The Citizens have been busy on the transfer front this year, making a host of exciting signings to strengthen their ranks.
Manchester City’s new recruits have joined an already strong squad, albeit one that has seen some of its biggest veterans leave over the summer.
One of Man City’s signings from 2023 has now been praised by Matt Jarvis, despite the player splitting the fanbase somewhat.

Jarvis was speaking to Sam Allardyce and Manchester City presenter Natalie Pike on the No Tippy Tappy Football podcast.
The former Wolverhampton Wanderers and West Ham United man was discussing the “end productivity” of wingers.
“I even quite like Doku,” said Jarvis. “Just because I quite like that he’s different.
“No, but that’s what I mean about the end product with him.
“But he gets you off your seat a little bit if you’re a fan, because he’ll do something you’re not expecting someone to do.”
Allardyce, however, said: “Jack could do just as good, if not better.”

Natalie Pike shares how Manchester City fans really feel about Jeremy Doku
While Doku certainly has his strengths, his lack of end product when playing for City has become worrying.
Pike said: “There’s an element of frustration with him. I agree with you because obviously I watch him every game.
“But when he gets the ball everybody was excited but now it’s getting to the point where it’s getting a little bit frustrating.”
Doku failed to create any chances against Liechtenstein, one of the weakest international teams in the world.
However, Doku was much improved against Kazakhstan as he bagged a brace, so perhaps he could be turning a corner.
