Bournemouth winger Luis Sinisterra has only just arrived at Cruzeiro, but he’s already made a move that Brazilian press is seeing as a suggestion that he could be planning to stay longer than his current contract.
According to [**reports in Brazil**](https://n3news.com.br/2025/09/sinisterra-compra-mansao-de-r-7-milhoes-em-bh/), the Colombian has purchased a R$6.9m (£1m) mansion in Lagoa Santa, an upscale area in the metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte.
The deal was brokered by agent Tiago Melo, a well-known figure in the luxury property market who has worked with several footballers. Sinisterra’s new home is impressive: 570m² of built area on a 1,028m² plot, with six bedrooms (five of them suites), six bathrooms and three garage spaces, all inside the Bougainville luxury condominium.
What makes this purchase stand out is that Sinisterra is technically only on loan at Cruzeiro. He joined in the last window on a one-year deal from Bournemouth, with an option to buy.
By investing in a permanent home so quickly, the 26-year-old may be signalling that he sees his future in Brazil beyond just a short spell.
Sinisterra has already made his debut, coming off the bench in the win over São Paulo on 30 August. But it’s his off-field move that has fans talking, raising the possibility that his time at Cruzeiro could last well beyond this season.
