New Manchester United star Bryan Mbeumo expressed that he had a ‘tough’ start to life at Old Trafford while he continues to shine as one of the club’s best players at the start of the 2025/26 campaign.
In what was one of the longest transfer stories during the last window, it took United three bids to get their star player after Brentford accepted a £65million plus £6m in add-ons offer from the Red Devils.
After shining for United this season, Mbeumo revealed that he prefers to have a quiet presence among his peers.
“It’s been tough,” Mbeumo told club media, as per Manchester Evening News.
“I was expecting a lot from here because it’s a big club. It’s a big everything. I’m really happy with what happened to me here, the teammates, the staff, everyone in Carrington are lovely people.
“You really want to come in and work here every day, which is really good. When I first arrive somewhere, I don’t really know, I don’t like to be loud or show myself a lot [be outgoing].”
