Andre Onana is expected to fly to Turkey tomorrow and be on the pitch for Trabzonspor’s clash with Fenerbahçe after a deal was struck with Manchester United.
That’s according to 61 Saat, who report that Trabzonspor have now struck an agreement with Manchester United to loan the goalkeeper.
According to their information, the Cameroon international will travel to Turkey to undergo a medical tomorrow. He is then expected to be on the pitch for the derby with Fenerbahçe once the ‘licensing process’ is completed. That is likely to mean his registration.
That derby is on Sunday and 61 Saat report that he is expected to be in charge in that game. In other words, he will be playing if all goes to plan.
Discussions have been ongoing with Manchester United over a loan deal this week. He will sign for the season with the Turkish side. The hope is that he can strengthen their title hopes.
Journalist Hasan Tüncel backs up some of this information, reporting that a ‘special plane’ is being prepared for Onana. That’s likely to just be a private flight. He and his family will be in Trabzon tomorrow to finalise his move from Manchester United.
