Fabrizio Romano says Man Utd star could leave in coming days in Wednesday morning update

Manchester United full-back Tyrell Malacia could still leave the club, with several sides interested, despite the summer transfer window being closed in England, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed, writing in his exclusive GIVEMESPORT newsletter.

The English summer transfer window slammed shut last week, and United managed to offload some of their fringe players before the deadline. The likes of Antony, Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford, and Alejandro Garnacho all departed, while we also saw Andre Onana leave on loan after the window had closed.

With other windows around the world still open, we could still see players in the Premier League leave their respective clubs. The likes of the Turkish window is yet to close, but United only have a few days remaining if they want to offload some of their players who are struggling to break into Ruben Amorim's side.

Writing in his exclusive GIVEMESPORT newsletter, there remains a possibility that Malacia leaves Manchester United in the coming days. Several clubs are showing an interest in securing his signature, but nothing is done or has been agreed just yet...

"It’s a possibility yes. Nothing agreed or done yet but several clubs from abroad are showing interest."

Malacia clearly has no future at Old Trafford after being sent out on loan to PSV Eindhoven last season. Malacia has since returned, but he's yet to be involved for the Red Devils this season. Since the beginning of the 2023/2024 season, Malacia has played just eight times for United, with five of those being in cup competitions, making just three Premier League appearances.

Allowing Malacia to depart would make sense for all parties, but his options are running out with multiple transfer windows closed around the world. Even a temporary move to Turkey would be beneficial for Malacia, as there is little chance that he plays regularly if he remains in Manchester this season.

United are unlikely to receive a significant fee for Malacia is he were to head through the exit door in the coming days, but simply allowing him to play and potentially build his value would make sense. It's not worked out for either United or the Dutch international, and at the age of 26, he needs to be playing regularly.
