Athlon has weekly bowl projections and following Week 2, here’s where things stand in the Mountain West. They have Boise State in the LA Bowl, Colorado State in the Potato Bowl, then Hawaii in the Hawaii Bowl. Also, UNLV will go to the First Responder Bowl and San Jose State will be in the Arizona Bowl. Air Force will play in the Armbed Forces Bowl, and Fresno State rounds things off in the New Mexico Bowl. Yes, somehow these are the most recent projections, as of Sept 7th.
Chris Murray is back for another week of rankings. No changes in the top four with UNLV, Fresno State, Boise State, and Hawaii setting the tone. Wyoming jumps to #5, with Air Force going down a spot. Utah State and San Jose State also switch places. The Lobos rise from 11 to 9 and the Rams drop from 6 to 12, with SDSU and Nevada in between.
