Madrid keep an eye on Van de Ven

--------------------------------

The Dutch defender signed for Spurs from Wolfsburg in 2023 and has gone on to make 55 appearances for the north London club across all competitions.

He has started all three of his side’s Premier League matches so far this season and looks set to play a key role in Thomas Frank’s squad as the campaign progresses.

However, Los Blancos could be plotting a move for Van de Ven when the window reopens.

"The Dutch defender, just 24 years old, has earned a place in the elite thanks to his speed, strength, and ability to lead the London defense.

"Real Madrid are closely monitoring Micky van de Ven's development. The club, which is looking for a reliable center-back to strengthen its squad for the future, sees the Dutchman as an ideal fit for Florentino Perez's project."

Simic set for Saudi switch

--------------------------

Jan-Carlo Simic is reportedly close to a move to Al-Ittihad from Belgian side Anderlecht.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano says that the Saudi side have agreed a €20 million package for the Serbia international.

Simic played 49 games across all competitions for his club last term, scoring four goals and providing two assists. However, Romano believes that his time in Belgium could be coming to an end.

"Al-Ittihad reach verbal agreement to sign Jan-Carlo Simic as new centre-back, here we go," he posted on X, formerly Twitter.

"Formal steps to follow but four-year deal agreed with former AC Milan defender and package close to €20m (add-ons included) to Anderlecht."

Onana loan move close

---------------------

Andre Onana could go head-to-head with former Manchester City star Ederson this weekend if the Manchester United goalkeeper completes a loan move to Trabzonspor before Sunday.

Trabzonspor are set to face Ederson’s new side Fenerbahce in the Super Lig in their first game after the international break, and The Athletic believes Onana could play a part.

Onana has fallen out of favour at Old Trafford after a string of mistakes under Erik ten Hag and Ruben Amorim.

The Athletic say Onana will fly to Turkey to complete the loan move from Manchester United following Cameroon's defeat to Cape Verde.

European clubs keeping tabs on Sa

---------------------------------

Transfer journalist Rudy Galetti believes that some of Europe’s biggest sides are keeping tabs on Portugal Under-21 international Gustavo Sa.

The 20-year-old midfielder currently plays for Primeira Liga side Famalicao, where he made 34 appearances across all competitions last term.

Galetti says scouts from sides across the continent will be in attendance to watch his side play Sporting CP on Saturday evening.

"Top European clubs keep monitoring Gustavo Sa ahead of future windows," he posted on X. "Scouts will attend on Saturday to watch him closely during Famalicao v Sporting CP."
