Miami Dolphins fans are fed up, and the team has only played one game this season. During their opening game of the season, the Dolphins were embarrassed by the Indianapolis Colts 33-8.
Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel believes getting embarrassed by the Colts early in the season could be good for the team.
“I would say the good news and the positive is I don’t see how it could be worse,” McDaniel said. “And I also believe in the coaches and players to get it fixed because it’s just a shame. You work behind the scenes for months on end, and you don’t show any of it — it’s frustrating. But that can be a good thing and that’s what I saw from the positive. Also you could tell as frustrating as it was, the team didn’t splinter and the effort still remained.”
Unfortunately for McDaniel, Dolphins fans don’t agree with his outlook and want him gone.
On Monday, Dolphins fans were passing around a GoFundMe link to fly a “Fire Mike McDaniel” banner at Hard Rock Stadium this weekend.
It didn’t take long for Dolphins fans to reach the $900 goal, and the plane has already been chartered.

The plane has been chartered. The plane will fly over Joe Robbie from 11:00am – 12:00pm this Sunday before the home opener during peak tailgating hours.
While fans are fed up, it appears that management is going to give McDaniel until week 6 or 7 to turn things around.

“Sources around the league believe Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel and general manager Chris Grier may not survive the season if they don’t turn things around rather quickly.”
