Manchester United have already suffered two defeats this season but two loan players are enjoying a much stronger start to the campaign.
The Red Devils sit ninth in the Premier League table after three matches, but a shock defeat to Grimsby Town in the Carabao Cup has piled pressure on Ruben Amorim.
Amorim’s main priority will be improving his players at Carrington, but he will also have half an eye on the 17 United players out on loan this season.
Some of those 17 loanees are members of Amorim’s ‘bomb squad’ who departed this summer, while others are exciting academy prospects who have left to play regular minutes elsewhere.
Two of those remain unbeaten this season.

Two Man United loanees have made unbeaten starts in 2025/26
As pointed out by The92Bible on X, only 11 English clubs remain unbeaten in 2025/26 across the top four divisions.
Interestingly, Championship duo West Brom and Bristol City both remain unbeaten in the second division after four games.
Carrington graduate Toby Collyer joined West Brom on loan over the summer and has contributed to their impressive start, while Radek Vitek joined Bristol City on loan and has been an immediate hit for the Robins.

Toby Collyer and Radek Vitek find themselves going head-to-head with each other to help their respective teams battle for Premier League promotion this season.
How Toby Collyer and Radek Vitek are performing on loan
While Amorim is overhauling United’s goalkeeper department back at Carrington, he should be closely following Vitek’s progress out on loan.
Vitek was voted Player of the Month at Bristol after a sensational start to his loan spell. He has played every minute of their Championship campaign so far and only conceded four goals in four matches.
Bristol City fans are already raving about Vitek following his bright start, and at 21 years old he could give Amorim some selection headaches if he continues on his current trajectory.
As for Collyer, he has found it harder to break into the starting XI at The Hawthorns. He has made three appearances for West Brom, but all as a substitute.

However, West Brom boss Ryan Mason is a big admirer of Collyer and has promised that he will get game time with the Baggies this season.
Both of United’s unbeaten stars have bright futures ahead of them.
