Magic center ejected from Georgia's elimination game vs. Finland

Orlando Magic center Goga Bitadze was ejected from Georgia's EuroBasket 2025 quarterfinal after receiving technical and unsportsmanlike fouls.

Orlando Magic center Goga Bitadze did not finish Georgia's FIBA EuroBasket 2025 quarterfinal matchup against Finland after being ejected in the fourth quarter.

Georgia / Schedule

Bitadze had already picked up a technical foul in the second quarter following a heated exchange with Finland's Sasu Salin, during which teammate Toko Shengelia had to calm him down.

Early in the fourth quarter, he was whistled for an unsportsmanlike foul, leading to his ejection. On his way to the locker room, cameras caught him smashing the tunnel wall/door in frustration.

Before exiting, Bitadze had recorded 14 points and six rebounds in 23.5 minutes.

His ejection came at a crucial moment, as Georgia had trimmed the deficit to nine points and was mounting a comeback. Instead, Finland capitalized on the possession, scoring five points to stretch their lead back to 14 (81–67).

With 3:13 left in the fourth quarter, Georgia captain Tornike Shengelia was also ejected from the game with Finland leading 87-74.
