All eyes will be on The Etihad on Sunday as the first Manchester derby of the season takes place.
Manchester City host rivals Manchester United with both sides having struggled so far this term.
At present City sit 13th in the Premier League table with just three points from three matches, while United occupy ninth place having picked up their first win of the season against Burnley last time out.
United boss Ruben Amorim will be desperate to see his side build on that victory when they visit The Etihad, but City will likely go into the match as favourites.
This summer was a busy one for the Red Devils, who spent heavily on the likes of Benjamin Sesko, Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha to bolster Amorim’s frontline.
Now, it has emerged that United are set to focus on recruitment in one particular position when the transfer window reopens in January.
According to Football Insider, the Manchester giants are set to prioritise a move for a new midfielder during the mid-season window.

United were on the hunt for midfield reinforcements over the summer and were heavily linked with a move for Brighton and Hove Albion’s Carlos Baleba, but the move never materialised.
It is claimed that the Red Devils did make a late enquiry about the availability of the Cameroonian towards the end of the window, however United are unlikely to be able to sign the midfielder in January as Brighton’s asking price for the player remains too high.
Baleba would like cost in excess of £100 million, the report suggests, while United are hoping that his fellow countryman, Andre Onana, can impress while on loan at Trabzonspor in order to command a significant fee if he is sold next term.
So far this season Amorim has primarily used captain Bruno Fernandes alongside veteran Casemiro in midfield, but the Portuguese is said to have identified that particular part of the pitch as an area that could be improved.
