New York Knicks are expected to bring in Saint Joseph’s head coach Billy Lange for a role on Mike Brown's staff, according to Pete Thamel of ESPN.
Lange was preparing to enter his seventh season at St. Joe’s before making the move to the NBA.
The 52-year-old coach previously spent time as an assistant with the Philadelphia 76ers from 2013 to 2019 before taking over the Saint Joseph’s program.
His collegiate head coaching career started at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, where he posted a 39-19 record and led the team to the Sweet 16.
Since taking over at Saint Joseph’s in 2019, Lange has led the Hawks to back-to-back Big 5 Classic championships and a 22-13 record in the 2024–25 season.
