Crystal Palace have a host of international players in Oliver Glasner's squad, and they'll all be hoping to jet off to the World Cup in 2026.
The likes of Marc Guehi, Chris Richards, and Borna Sosa are among those to be regulars for their countries of late, and they'll be fighting to make their national team squads. Richards has the luxury of his country automatically qualifying for the competition due to the USA being one of the host nations, and he'll fancy his chances of making the squad next year.
GIVEMESPORT have now ranked all of Crystal Palace's players who have a chance of making it into their respective squads...

Their last call-up
13 Jean-Philippe Mateta
Mateta
Jean-Philippe Mateta has been involved with the French national team, but his only appearances have come during the Olympics. The experienced striker struck five times in six appearances at the tournament, but he's yet to be involved with the senior squad in a more traditional competition or even a friendly. Injuries to key players might be needed for Mateta to get himself on the plane.
12 Chadi Riad
Chadi Riad
Chadi Riad is yet to break into the Crystal Palace side on a regular basis, which could hamper his chances of making the Morocco squad if they were to qualify. The 22-year-old has played three times for his country, but he wasn't named in the latest squad, perhaps due to injury, but also potentially due to his lack of experience at senior level in recent years.
11 Christantus Uche
MixCollage-10-Sep-2025-02-06-PM-751
Christantus Uche was called up to the latest Nigeria squad, but he has plenty of competition for places in attack. Uche is a versatile option, which could help his chances, but he's up against the likes of Victor Osimhen, Cyriel Dessers, and Tolu Arokdare for a starting role in the striker position. During the most recent international break, Uche played just 20 minutes off the bench against South Africa.
10 Yeremy Pino
Yeremy Pino
Yeremy Pino has managed to earn 15 caps for his country, despite being just 22 years old. However, he wasn't named in Spain's latest squad, perhaps due to the lack of minutes in recent weeks after his move to Palace. There's a chance he is picked to head to the tournament, but he's got plenty of competition to fight with, and he's going to need to have a strong season with the Eagles.
9 Adam Wharton
Adam Wharton in action for Crystal Palace
Adam Wharton is a player that the majority of Crystal Palace fans will be screaming for Thomas Tuchel to select. The 21-year-old has made just one appearance for the senior side so far and was called up to the latest squad, but he pulled out due to injury. If he stays fit, there is a chance that he's selected by Tuchel, but the impressive performance of Elliott Anderson during the September international break could make it a little more tricky for him.
8 Borna Sosa
MixCollage-10-Sep-2025-02-08-PM-2352
Borna Sosa has been regularly involved for Croatia in recent years, but his situation might be about to change. The experienced left-back is currently behind Tyrick Mitchell in the pecking order at Palace, so he might not play regularly, but that shouldn't stop him at least making the Croatia squad. Sosa was involved in their latest side, playing against the Faroe Islands earlier in September.
7 Daichi Kamada
Daichi Kamada
Daichi Kamada has been a guarantee for Japan in recent years, playing 44 times for his country during his career. In the most recent international break, Kamada started once and came off the bench in the other, so there's a strong chance he makes the Japan squad if they qualify for the tournament next summer. Kamada is playing slightly deeper for Palace then has has at his previous clubs, so it will be interesting to see whether that impacts his chances.
6 Ismaila Sarr
Adam Wharton and Ismaila Sarr embrace
Ismaila Sarr is one of the most experienced in this list when it comes to international football. Making 72 appearances for Senegal in his career, Sarr is usually a regular for his country, including in the last few years, but he failed to make the most recent squad due to injury. Sarr will have another opportunity to impress the national team manager later this year, and he should be heading to the tournament if Senegal qualify.
5 Jefferson Lerma
jefferson lerma
Despite now being in his thirties, Jefferson Lerma is showing no signs of slowing down when it comes to playing internationally. The former Bournemouth midfielder played twice for Colombia during the most recent international break, starting both games for his country. Lerma is yet to start for Palace in the Premier League this season, but that hasn't stopped Colombia selecting him as one of their key stars in the middle of the park.
4 Daniel Munoz
daniel munoz
Daniel Munoz is one of the list likely to be a guarantee if his country qualifies. Munoz has made 41 appearances for Colombia and played in their most recent game against Venezuela, but he failed to make the squad against Bolivia earlier in the month. If everything goes to plan, the 29-year-old should be heading to the tournament if he continues his form with Palace and manages to stay fit.
