The Denver Broncos have the best cornerback in the game, at least according to media voters.
Patrick Surtain II is the reigning Defensive Player of the Year, for good reason.
As such, he’s an authorized voice to talk about the best pass catchers in the game.
Asked about the top five wide receivers in the NFL, there weren’t many surprises in his response.
“Obviously, Ja’Marr, Justin. I’ll go CeeDee, A.J., maybe Amon-Ra,” Surtain said.

When it comes to Ja’Marr Chase, he should be listed at the top.
The Cincinnati Bengals star led the NFL in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns last season.
Justin Jefferson, when healthy, has proven to be one of a kind.
Whether it’s outside or in the slot, he has been unstoppable for the Minnesota Vikings.
CeeDee Lamb also deserves to be up there, proving that he can be a dominant volume pass catcher even when the Dallas Cowboys struggle.
Now, having George Pickens by his side should open up more for him.
A.J. Brown didn’t get off to a strong start to the season for the Philadelphia Eagles, and his chemistry with quarterback Jalen Hurts has been a talking point.
Yet he remains an absolute force in the open field, not to mention a physical mismatch for any cornerback.
Amon-Ra St. Brown is perhaps the most surprising, as the Detroit Lions standout is not always mentioned when talking about top-tier wideouts.
Nevertheless, he’s posted numbers for years, and he’s clearly outplayed his fourth-round draft status.
This is a great list, and you simply can’t go wrong with any of them.
