‘Determined to cling on’ - Man Utd star now no longer keen to join Turkish club on loan as Wed…

Manchester United defender Tyrell Malacia is not keen on a loan move to Eyupspor, according to talkSPORT chief football correspondent Alex Crook.

Reports emerged earlier today that the out-of-favour Red Devils player was weighing up a move to the Super Lig club.

Man United have reportedly reached an agreement with Eyupspor for the loan transfer of the Netherlands international.

However, it appears Malacia has no plans on joining them, presumably because of a failure to reach personal terms.

The summer transfer window in Turkey closes on September 12, and Man United will hope the Dutchman will change his mind in the coming hours.

Other members of the ‘bomb squad’ have been moved on, while Cameroon international goalkeeper Andre Onana is set to join Trabzonspor on loan.

Malacia has been training alone from the rest of the squad since the beginning of pre-season, and it seems he would be open to remaining at the club until January.

The 26-year-old left-back spent the second half of last term on loan in the Eredivisie with PSV Eindhoven, and while a return home could appeal to him, the window in the Netherlands closed on September 2.

The summer transfer market in the Saudi Pro League is set to end tomorrow, while clubs in Russia and Greece will be joining their counterparts in Turkey to close the window on Friday.
