The Baltimore Ravens lost a heartbreaker to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday night, 41-40. It was a quarterback battle between Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson, but it was Allen’s Bills team that scored 22 fourth-quarter points to get the stunning win in Buffalo.
Unfortunately, the thrilling finish was overshadowed by a situation involving Jackson and some Bills fans. A clip surfaced of Jackson shoving some Bills fans who were yelling at him, and that sparked questions about whether or not the NFL would hand down any discipline for the Ravens quarterback.
Jackson was celebrating with his teammates after a touchdown pass to DeAndre Hopkins when the incident occurred, and the clip went viral on the internet.

On Wednesday, Jackson revealed that he apologized to the Bills fans and gave them some advice in the process, via Jamison Hensley of ESPN.
“It just happened,” Jackson said. “I got pushed. I’m like, what? I wasn’t even thinking about me being out there on the field. My apologies to him.”
Jackson also had advice for the fan.

“Just chill next time,” Jackson said. “You can talk trash and stuff but keep your hands to yourself.”
The Ravens QB added that “stuff like that shouldn’t be happening.”
“Stuff like that shouldn’t be happening. It’s not WWE,” Jackson said. “We’re playing football out here. So just keep it to football. I know guys are going to talk trash. I know the opposing team is going to talk trash. Keep it that way. But keep your hands and keep your objects to yourself.”
The Bills fan was indefinitely banned from all NFL stadiums.
Jackson threw for 209 yards with two touchdowns and added another 70 yards and one score on the ground, so the NFL MVP runner-up got off to a strong start despite a tough loss to the Bills.
The Ravens face the Cleveland Browns in Week 2 in Baltimore, and as of now, no punishment has been handed down by the league.
