**The Manchester derby this weekend has a lot riding on it for both clubs. Man United boss Ruben Amorim needs some momentum after an underwhelming start to the season, while their opponents have their own issues.**
City have lost two of their opening three fixtures, while they also have a lengthy injury list. It is, therefore, just as big a game for the home side as it is for the Red Devils.
Read below as we share our Man United predicted lineup for the match at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday evening.
Goalkeeper and Defence
----------------------
**GK – Senne Lammens –** it would be a big risk but Amorim may decide to start his new signing. Andre Onana is leaving for Trabzonspor, while Altay Bayindir is clearly not up to the task, so the Belgian could get the nod.
**CB – Leny Yoro –** Omar Marmoush’s injury would suggest that the teenager will be going up against the tricky Jeremy Doku instead.
**CB – Matthijs de Ligt –** the Dutchman didn’t impress against Burnley but he could, nonetheless, keep his place this weekend, with Amorim giving him the unenviable task of keeping Erling Haaland quiet.
**CB – Luke Shaw –** the 30-year-old has slotted in nicely to the back three, and he appears to be free of injuries.
