Six players who spent at least half of last term away from the club left this summer.
Jaidon Anthony saw his loan at Burnley made permanent after they were promoted, while Joe Rothwell and Chris Mepham, both of whom were on Championship loans, have moved to Rangers and West Brom respectively.
Philip Billing returned to Denmark, joining Midtjylland and Neto headed back to Brazil to join Botafogo.

Hamed Traore and Luis Sinisterra have also left on loan, but it is the expectation that they will leave on permanent moves to Marseille and Cruzeiro with purchase obligations included in the moves.
It was a successful aspect of the summer for the Cherries, and Simon Francis told the Daily Echo that moving players on is a process that began last season.
“We probably work window to window,” he told the Daily Echo.

“But for sure you'd already be thinking, now, players that have gone out on loan, what do we envisage will happen over the course of the season and where do we put ourselves in a year's time?
“Will they be moving on a permanent? Will they come back into the squad?
“Like Daniel Jebbison [who joined Preston on loan], for example, we want him to go out and play games at Championship level so we can recognise that he builds confidence, minutes to then come in potentially in a year's time and fight for his place.
“Whereas we know, for example, Hamed Traore is going to go out on loan to Marseille, but there's a good chance he's going to sign there permanent.

“And then now we work towards January's window, which is usually quiet for us, which is nice because it means squad's in a good place.
“You might have to tidy up or manage some situations. But yeah, it's working window to window, really. I hope, I think that in a year's time the window won't be as long and drastic as we've had this summer, which will be nice.
“I think we'll be a lot more stable and settled, which means that the manager will be happy and we'll be happy with where the squad's at. But it's normally window to window.”
