England star Agyemang can be more than a goal-getter for Albion

[Albion](https://www.theargus.co.uk/sport/albion/) want to see Michelle Agyemang prove she is more than a penalty box predator.

But that does not mean there will ne scope to do what she does best.

The England striker is the focus of much attention after returning to the Seagulls for a second season on loan from Arsenal.

She sprang to national prominence with her goal-getting feats at the Euros, a competition Dario Vidosic believes England would not have won without her.

The [Albion](https://www.theargus.co.uk/sport/albion/) head coach is employing her as his starting centre-forward but with licence and guidance to roam.

She came short for service against Aston Villa in a bid to either drag a centre-back with her or, if her marker did not follow her, to create an overload in midfield.

And she was operating wide on the right for a short period when changes were made as the second half progressed.

Vidosic said: “Different sorts of teams will get will give us a different sorts of problems so we’re looking for as many solutions as we possibly can. Just to create problems.

“I think she’s good at that. She can receive between lines and face people and get running at them and she’s a good dribbler as well.

“So just trying to add as much for her, as well, as a young player, trying to give her as much ammunition, so to speak, to hurt opposition in many different ways.”

Vidosic believes it all adds to Agyemang’s education.

He said: “She said to me she hadn’t done that before. We’re trying to educate her and she came in a little bit late when she joined us in Spain.

“We’ll assess each opponent. We know her best strengths are in and around the box so we don’t want to take that away.

“We still want to have her in areas where she can score so we’ll assess.

“We’ve assessed City for Friday and we’ve got a good idea now how we’ll attack them Friday.”

Vidosic reported no new injuries or players coming back into the squad ahead of the trip to the Etihad campus.
