Former Manchester United whizkid Tahith Chong has found a way to make an impact on international duty.
Back in 2016, Manchester United snapped up Netherlands youth international Tahith Chong from Feyenoord.
Chong’s spell at United was a bumpy ride, suffering a torn ACL, before bouncing back to win the Jimmy Murphy Young Player of the Year Award.
While he made 16 first team appearances for United, Chong was unable to establish himself, and was sold to Birmingham City in 2022.
Now after a spell at Luton Town where he played in the Premier League, and 2025 summer transfer to Sheffield United, Chong has found success on the international stage.

Chong switches from Netherlands to Curacao
Tahith Chong represented the Netherlands from under-15s right through the under-21s, where he played a total of 48 youth games for his country.
But the senior international call for Chong never came. So he decided to take his talents elsewhere.
Chong was eligible to play for Caribbean minnows Curacao, who are currently managed by Dutch coach Dick Advocaat.

After declaring for the nation, and his switch being approved earlier this summer, he made his international debut for Curacao off the bench in a 0-0 draw against Trinidad and Tobago last week.
Dream first Curacao start for Tahith Chong
Tahith Chong was named as a Curacao starter for the first time in their World Cup qualifier with Bermuda.
And it could not possibly have gone better, with Chong firing Curacao to a 3-2 victory, playing a major part in the win.
Chong scored two goals and provided an assist, having a hand in all three goals.
The win places them second in their group, two points back from Steve McClaren’s Jamaica.
Chong, 25, has an outside chance of going to the World Cup, but most of all, he has clearly discovered something special with his affiliation to Curacao.
Similarly, two former United players Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Axel Tuanzebe turned their backs on England calls that may have never arrived, teaming up to represent DR Congo.
