The aim of Wolves star Marshall Munetsi is very simple – for both him and the side to do better than last year.

Munetsi joined in the January transfer window and straight away slotted into the team, helping score and assist. His energetic lung-busting sprints into the box impressed many and it will be music to the supporters’ ears that he wants to do even more this season.

He said: “For me, it’s to do better than what I did last season. I want to help the team on the defensive side and also when we attack, so I want to try and assist when it comes to the goals.

“Obviously we lost Matheus Cunha who was contributing a lot, so I want to improve on my finishing in front of goal and also to help us finish in a better position than what we did last season.

“We’ve got to try and be as solid as we can be and be aggressive towards each and every game, while trying to win more games than we did last year.

“We also need to remember that we’re still in the beginning phase of the season, so I think there are so many things that we still need to adjust and improve. But we’re going to keep working on them day by day.”
