Newcastle United fans are awaiting a new update from PIF in regard to a potential new stadium.
Indeed, PIF plan to build a new stadium for Newcastle United, although updates about the plans have been profoundly lacking.
For that, the Newcastle United owners have been criticised. Alexander Isak wanted Newcastle to show more ambition before leaving the club for Liverpool, with progress off the field appearing to have stalled in recent months.
Despite a fair amount of talk, there haven’t been any significant updates on a move to a potential new stadium or a new training ground.
Fans will naturally be desperate for updates, as it could show some tangible progress behind the scenes after a sometimes-bruising summer for the club.
It seems as if the Newcastle United owners are aware of that.

PIF know Newcastle fans want new stadium update
According to The Chronicle, decision-makers on Tyneside know all about the desperation supporters have for updates on a new stadium.
It’s said that PIF know there is a “thirst for information” amongst the fanbase and that they will update them as soon as developments emerge.

The report adds that staying at and duly revamping the iconic St James’ Park does remain a possibility.
PIF are also thought to have been keen to make this a much quicker process but they have been held up by getting planning permission from the city council.
What Newcastle United have said about their potential new stadium
Earlier this month, PIF finally made a key appointment.
Shortly after the summer transfer window shut, Newcastle confirmed the appointment of David Hopkinson as their new CEO.
Naturally, he was asked about what could happen with a new stadium.
The Newcastle United CEO confirmed the club still needed time to decide on a new stadium, telling Newcastle United’s official website: “That’s something we’re thinking about really hard.
“Higher ambitions are going to require some investments. St James’ Park, this is iconic, this is special, it’s a special place.
“Are our ambitions best served here? Might our ambitions be best served even better as we create a new stadium? We’ll figure that out.
“I don’t think we’re ready to make that decision today, but these are nice choices to be thinking about, nice options to be creating for ourselves.”
St James’ Park has been the iconic home of Newcastle United for 133 years and any decision to leave it would leave a lasting impact on the supporters.
