Shearer outlines one of Salah’s greatest attributes

As one of the best attackers in the Premier League in recent history, former Newcastle great Alan Shearer believes that Mohamed Salah’s fearlessness puts him among the greats in England.
Despite having a slow start to the 2025/26 campaign, Shearer heaped praises on Salah as he marked the attribute that puts him head and shoulders above his competitors.
With 187 goals in 304 Premier League appearances, Shearer expressed that the Egyptian is not afraid to miss the target while he continues to find the net regularly.
“Mentality, Mo Salah, he just constantly gets in there,” Shearer told Sport Bible, as per Anfield Index.
“He’s not afraid to shoot when he should perhaps pass it, and he’s not afraid to miss, I love that mentality.”
