Gary Neville has reacted after discovering his Everton prediction was proven wrong in recent days.
Despite the early frustrations following the defeat away to Leeds United, David Moyes has managed to get the Toffees up and running with two consecutive league wins.
Three games into the campaign and Everton are sitting in fifth spot, with six points from a possible nine to their name.
Last time out, Everton secured an away victory against Wolves at Molineux, which saw Jack Grealish add a further two assists.
Moyes has proven a number of doubters wrong since he returned to Merseyside, with Everton fans excited about what this season could bring.
Someone else who has been proven wrong is Sky Sports pundit Neville, with his recent Everton prediction not coming to fruition.

Everton prove Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher wrong
Ahead of the last game before the international break, Neville and Jamie Carragher predicted Everton and Wolves to draw at Molineux.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
The Toffees may well be proving a number of people wrong again this season, with Owen Hargreaves expecting Everton to finish 15th in the Premier League.
Speaking on the Stick to Football podcast, Neville reacted after finding out which results let his predictions down in the last game week.
“What were the results that [hurt] us then? Tottenham obviously. Oh… Everton beat Wolves,” said Neville.
Neville recently asked whether Everton needed more signings to avoid relegation ahead of the summer window shutting.
Everton face an Aston Villa side who are still in search of their first victory this weekend having only taken one point from their opening three games.
The Blues have an opportunity to build on from their first win at the new stadium against Brighton & Hove Albion and prove more wrong in the process.
Everton will prove people wrong this season
The Friedkins have backed Moyes in the market and the 62-year-old is delighted with some of the arrivals.
Expectations around the Toffees were not too high coming into the season given they have battled relegation over recent years.
However, Moyes is keen to get his side aiming for the top half of the table over the coming months.
“We would like to try and get Everton back to where they’re challenging again for European football,” he said last season.
Nottingham Forest showed Everton they can push for Europe, and the start to the campaign should provide a lot of people with optimism for what could be to come.
