On September 11, Kansas City Chiefs’ owner Clark Hunt’s daughter, Gracie Hunt, took to her Instagram Stories to share a tribute for right-wing political activist, Charlie Kirk, who was shot dead on Sept 10. Hunt reposted President Donald Trump’s statement via Fox News, which read,
“Charlie Kirk is one of the finest humans I know. Everyone please lift him and his family up in prayer.”
Gracie Hunt reacted on her IG Stories, adding the caption,
“in disbelief 🙏🏻💔”

Charlie Kirk was shot dead during a public event at Utah Valley University in Orem, where he was involved in a “Prove Me Wrong” debate as part of his “American Comeback Tour.” Kirk was reportedly answering questions from the crowd when a bullet struck his neck. He was immediately taken to the hospital, but unfortunately, didn’t make it.
Authorities allude to only one bullet being fired. A manhunt for the killer is underway.

President Donald Trump has launched a nationwide manhunt for the killer of Charlie Kirk, calling the assassination of his longtime ally a dark turning point for the country.
In his statement onTruth Social, Trump said his administration is mobilizing every available resource to track down not only the shooter but also anyone who supported or financed the attack. He also hailed Kirk’s bond with young conservatives and his pivotal role in Republican grassroots politics.
“My administration will find each and every one of those who contributed to this atrocity and to other political violence, including the organizations that fund it and support it, as well as those who go after our judges, law enforcement officials, and everyone else who brings order to our country.”
In a separate video message carried by theBBC, Trump called the killing a “dark moment for America.”
