Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana has been pictured catching his private flight to Türkiye to sign for Trabzonspor.
Sabah provide the images today, showing Onana boarding a flight while holding up a Trabzonspor shirt. A separate image shows him alongside his family before taking the flight to Türkiye.
They report that the Manchester United goalkeeper ‘has set off’ ahead of closing his loan deal with the Super Lig side.
61 Saat, meanwhile, report that Onana will arrive at Trabzon Airport today at 4:40pm. A report yesterday made it clear that he was catching a flight today and then doing a medical. Indeed, the hope is to have him in the team for the derby with Fenerbahce this weekend.
Trabzonspor have closed a loan deal with Manchester United for the goalkeeper, who is no longer a part of the plans at Old Trafford after the late signing of Senne Lammens. He had started the season behind Altay Bayindir.
He had expected to be moved on this summer after a ropey two years at Old Trafford following a €50m move from Inter Milan in 2023.
Now he’s on the verge of making the move on loan to Türkiye, whose transfer deadline closes tomorrow.
