Michael Irvin, former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver, recently shed light on his infamous defamation suit against Marriott International and one of their female employees. In an episode of the ‘All The Smoke’ podcast, Irvin spoke about this very topic and made his stance clear for curious viewers.

Irvin was accused of being sexually inappropriate with a female hotel staff at Marriott, because of which he was removed from the NFL Network itself. However, the retired player revealed what actually went down at the hotel.

“I walk in, I meet a woman, this girl, I don’t remember her. We shake her hands. I don’t remember what I said to her, and I go to the room. Next day, I wake up, do all my shows. After the shows, I come back, I’m trying to take a nap, and they called me to the room, the hotel security. And I’m saying, ‘Call me for what? What’s going on? What’s going on?’ They didn’t tell me for a while. ‘Michael, we have a situation. I’m like, ‘What situation? I know ain’t nobody get to my room last night.’ I’m thinking like, ‘What happened? What are you talking about?’ ‘We had a situation.’ I said, ‘What situation?’ What girl? Well, no girl my room.’ That’s the first thing I said, ‘I ain’t bring nobody in my room.'” Michael Irvin said on the ‘All The Smoke’ podcast.

Michael Irvin went on to reveal that a picture that he took at the hotel with three men actually saved his reputation. The men he took the picture with realized that Irvin was being wrongly accused and testified for him.

Meanwhile, Michael Irvin showed up on Shannon Sharpe’s show and confessed that he used his first NFL check to get more dates. The former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver revealed that he used to leave his check on the table to impress women.
