Mile Jedinak is undoubtedly a Crystal Palace legend.
The Australian captained the Eagles out of the Championship and into the Premier League – also captaining Crystal Palace in the 2016 FA Cup final – racking up a total of 179 appearances.
Jedinak will now be coming up against Crystal Palace this season after following Ange Postecoglou to Nottingham Forest.
Mile Jedinak to get Crystal Palace reunion on 31st January
Nottingham Forest have already played at Selhurst Park this season, as goals from Ismaila Sarr and Callum Hudson-Odoi resulted in a 1-1 draw.

However, Jedinak – who was part of Postecoglou’s backroom staff at Tottenham too – will reunite with Crystal Palace when Oliver Glasner takes his squad to the City Ground on 31st January.
Following the departure of Joel Ward – who could get a testimonial – there are no longer any players remaining at Crystal Palace who helped the Eagles win promotion back in 2013 along with the man born in Camperdown.
However, Jedinak did make 21 appearances with Nathaniel Clyne during the 2011/12 campaign before he joined Southampton, and the England international remains an important member of the squad at Selhurst Park, so there will at least be one familiar face for the 41-year-old to greet in Nottingham.
What Mile Jedinak said after Alan Pardew sold him to Aston Villa in August 2016
The summer of 2016 was a tough one to take for Crystal Palace fans, as Yannick Bolasie and Jedinak left the club just weeks after losing the FA Cup final to Manchester United as well.
The Aussie departed with a heavy heart after building a strong connection with Crystal Palace fans, telling reporters: “When you spend five years somewhere, and go through pretty much everything you can with a football club, it was special.
“It was a good time in my career, the last five years, and it wasn’t just what we built on the field. I was able to start a family in London and so on. It’s a very dear place to my heart and will continue to be.”
It’s a shame Nottingham Forest have already come to Selhurst Park this season, but it will still be nice for the travelling fans to catch a glimpse of Jedinak in January.
