Viktor Gyokeres has yet to light up the Premier League with his first three performances, but Ally McCoist has revealed one positive he sees in him.
Gyokeres joined Arsenal in the summer transfer window for an initial £55million plus £8.5million in add-ons, and the expectations on him are high.
Fans and pundits alike have urged Arsenal to sign a striker after the club struggled in the final third and narrowly missed out on winning the Premier League, and Gyokeres has been seen as the answer to that problem.

Ally McCoist believes that missing chances does not bother Viktor Gyokeres
Gyokeres has received plenty of negative feedback early in his career, but the Arsenal forward fired back at that earlier in the season with a public statement of his own.
Now he has been backed by McCoist to be a success as the pundit spoke to TNT Sports about how Gyokeres has impressed him.
“There’s nobody [who has] complained about Arsenal not having an out-and-out centre forward more than me. We saw him against City in Lisbon, he played really, really well.
“What I liked about him, he probably missed two or three chances early on, and kept going and kept going.
“I don’t think missing, which is vitally important for a centre forward, I don’t think missing bothers him that much.”
Jamie Carragher believes Viktor Gyokeres will fall out of the Arsenal team
Gyokeres has started all three of Arsenal’s games in the Premier League since joining the club, with Arteta immediately backing the striker.
However, Jamie Carragher believes Gyokeres will be dropped for Kai Havertz when the Germany international is fit and available.
Gyokeres is expected to start against Nottingham Forest this weekend as he aims to get back on the Gunners’ scoresheet.
Arsenal’s upcoming Premier League fixture will also be Ange Postecoglou’s first time in charge of Nottingham Forest, adding further attention to the game.
