Tim Sherwood has named two Everton players in his World Cup eleven, dubbing one star ‘absolutely incredible’.
Everton are looking for a lot of representation at the 2026 World Cup, and the way David Moyes’ side are playing, there’s a big chance of that happening.
Thomas Tuchel has a big decision to make in the summer, and the Toffees’ squad has plenty of options to choose from.
Moyes has set high standards for his players to go on and achieve great things for both club and country.
But looking at England, Sherwood believes two stars deserve their chance, chucking them straight into his starting XI.

Tim Sherwood names Everton’s Jordan Pickford and Jack Grealish in England XI
Speaking to Sky Sports, the former Tottenham manager gave the goalkeeper and left wing position to Everton’s own, as Jordan Pickford and Jack Grealish both make his squad.
“Pickford has to play,” Sherwood said.
“I’ve watched Jack since he’s gone to Everton now. He’s been absolutely incredible,” he added.
“He takes the team forward, you roll the ball into him, he holds it up, he brings everyone in.”

As it stands, it seems pretty nailed on that these two deserve their place, as the Blues’ number one is a no-brainer, and Tuchel is watching Grealish’s Everton spell with a close eye.
If the winger continues his form, a return to the squad will be clear in October, but the 30-year-old must remain consistent.
These seem like the obvious picks, but Moyes is developing another player who should be within a shout for a summer in the USA.
Everton’s Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall also deserves a place in England XI
Grealish has been the standout summer signing by the Toffees, but Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has also excelled in the number ten role.
Dewsbury-Hall has been called a ‘million dollars’ as his creativity has been integral to how Moyes’ side have played this season.

The 26-year-old is surely on the verge of Tuchel’s thinking, as it’s factual that the midfielder is one of the most creative players in the Premier League at the moment.
It’s some competition to get in front of the likes of Jude Bellingham and Cole Palmer, but Dewsbury-Hall is blowing pundits away with his performances, and should it continue, he has every right to play in the World Cup.
