Detroit Lions linebacker Jack Campbell (46) tries to block a pass from Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love (10) during the second half at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wis., on Sunday, September 7, 2025.
As a colossal showdown against the Washington Commanders, who barnstormed to the NFC Championship Game last season looms, Love has vaulted up the quarterback power rankings.
According to CBS Sports’ Cody Benjamin, Love isn’t just the fifth-best quarterback, but his effortless efficiency in the deep ball could raise the Packers’ ceiling significantly in 2025.
“The Packers might have a complete package as an NFC contender,” Benjamin writes for CBS. “But Love was so good against Detroit he almost stole the Week 1 spotlight from Micah Parsons . His deep touch is effortlessly picturesque.”
If Love can continue at this pace, the Packers have built a roster loaded with young, ascending, and already elite talent around him to be a force in the NFC’s race to the Super Bowl this season.
