The 18-year-old spotted in senior Leeds training with Harry Gray ahead of Fulham clash

Leeds United could be without five players on Saturday afternoon as Daniel Farke takes his side to West London to face a Fulham side, still reeling from an unjust VAR call at Chelsea before the break.

In their first game following the injustice at Stamford Bridge, which has prompted an apology from PGMOL, Fulham host Leeds. It could well see Harry Wilson play against the side he wanted to join.

Rodrigo Muniz might also start for Fulham, having been right at the centre of the VAR controversy at Stamford Bridge before the break. Daniel Farke has confirmed Leeds could be without five players.

Lucas Perri is definitely out, while Ethan Ampadu and Ao Tanaka are facing a race against time to be fit for the trip to the capital. Lukas Nmecha and Joel Piroe are also doubts, meaning Leeds could be a bit light.

Rhys Chadwick involved in senior training ahead of Fulham trip

With five players possibly missing from the squad come Saturday, Farke may have to delve into the U21 side to bolster his ranks. Harry Gray is a regular in senior training these days, but was joined by another.

Leeds posted a behind-the-scenes video of first-team training on Thursday, which saw the Leeds players put through their paces. Ampadu, Piroe, Nmecha and Tanaka were all spotted training for the match.

But also spotted, enjoying some head tennis alongside Harry Gray, Noah Okafor and Anton Stach, was 18-year-old playmaker Rhys Chadwick (2.50). It comes after Chadwick was prominent during pre-season.

Rhys Chadwick has continued his stunning form for the 21s

By the time Leeds’ second string faced Brighton in February, Chadwick had a whopping 22 goals and assists. He finished the 21s campaign with a total of 26, and this season he has continued to do the same.

Another two assists have followed after playing for Leeds during pre-season, including as a late sub in a 0-0 draw with Man United. Clearly, Chadwick’s form has not gone unnoticed by Farke ahead of Fulham.

Whether Chadwick is included in the Leeds squad remains to be seen. But it might well be that he travels to Craven Cottage along with the rest of the squad and acts as emergency cover if a player pulls out.
