Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has caught some flak publicly after shoving an overzealous fan in the stands at their Week 1 game against the Bills. But after closely reviewing the incident, the NFL has decided not to seek any disciplinary actions against the former MVP.
After throwing a touchdown pass to DeAndre Hopkins in the third quarter during Sunday's game against the Bills, a fan in the stands tapped several Ravens players, including Hopkins and Jackson, on the head in a way that certainly seemed overly aggressive, which Jackson took exception to.
After also being hit on the head by the fan, Jackson decided to shove the fan back into his seat.

The fan in question has already been punished for his actions. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the fan has been banned from future Bills games and all other NFL stadiums for making contact with several Ravens players.
As for Jackson, it seems as if the NFL understands why Jackson decided to retaliate against the fan.
On Thursday, Adam Schefter relayed a message from NFL official Brian McCarthy explaining that the league will not be disciplining Jackson in any way for shoving the fan.
"The matter has been addressed by the club and there is no further action from the league," said McCarthy.
Jackson has already expressed remorse for his actions in Week 1 towards the fan while also sending a clear message to them, telling them to "chill next time" and to "keep their hands to themselves" and keep their animosity towards opposing players strictly to trash talk.
Clearly, Jackson's remorse is seemingly enough for the NFL to avoid any kind of fine from the league. So hopefully, Jackson can put this interaction, and an ugly Week 1 in general, behind him for their Week 2 matchup against their AFC North rivals, the Cleveland Browns.
