Leeds United have had a mixed start to the season, but considering all the factors, one could see a lot of positives. Despite how they ended the transfer deadline, there is a lot to look forward to.
Daniel Farke’s side have picked up four points from a possible nine, keeping two clean sheets against Everton and Newcastle. Their home record remains strong; they are unbeaten at Elland Road. There are some major concerns this early in the season for the club; the first is that their away form is terrible. Leeds have failed to win a single game on the road.

Leeds brought in three attackers during the summer window, and only one of them has found the back of the net. Lukas Nmecha is the only attacker at the club this season who has managed to score a goal. The other is Jayden Bogle, who is a fullback.
Wilfried Gnonto has accepted that he has played a part to the poor goalscoring form at the start of the season:
“I think it’s been okay, I expected better, obviously. We haven’t struggled but we haven’t created as many chances, but at the same time, I think it is a positive start from the team,” Gnonto said to BBC Radio Leeds.
“We did quite well and we’ve got some points. Hopefully, it’s going to get better. Hopefully it’s going to get better for me too, I would say [my performances have been] mixed,” he continued.
Gnonto has also said he is ready to step up this season, when asked about the goalscoring burden at Leeds United.
“I think it’s time,”
“Playing upfront you have to try to defend and everything but we’ll always be judged for goals and assists. I think it’s time.
“We struggled a bit scoring goals and creating chances but I’m sure it’s going to come. I’m sure we’re working well and I’m sure we have the quality so we’re going to score and help the team too.”
The Whites are away to Fulham in the Premier League this weekend.
