Free agent guard Landry Shamet is returning to the New York Knicks on a one-year deal.

Free agent guard Landry Shamet has agreed to a one-year deal to return to the New York Knicks, according to Shams Charania of ESPN.

This will be Shamet's eighth season in the NBA and his second straight year with the Knicks.

The 28-year-old averaged 5.7 points and 1.2 rebounds in 50 games last season, shooting 46.1% from the field and 39.7% from three-point range.

Shamet played college basketball at Wichita State and was selected 26th overall by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2018 NBA Draft.

He has also spent time with the Los Angeles Clippers, Brooklyn Nets, Phoenix Suns, and Washington Wizards.
