According to Douglas County Court records, McGinn would email or call therapists around the Omaha area and harass them.
Going back to March 24, investigators said McGinn began emailing a woman sexually explicit emails three times in one day, and that “McGinn has a history of doing this and has been cited in the past for similar behavior.”
On May 7, he left a different woman a sexually graphic voicemail, per another report.
On May 9, officers were dispatched to take a report from a woman who alleged McGinn had sent her pornographic photos and videos and was “fantasizing over a” minor, the report states.
McGinn often used the alias “Jay Thovin” in communications or previous interactions with police, including in 2018 when he was charged with 28 counts of the same crime against dozens of therapists and real estate agents.
He pleaded guilty in 2019, and all but four of the charges were dropped. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 16 days of credit for time served.
McGinn is being held at the Douglas County Jail as of Thursday afternoon on $50,000 bond.
He is scheduled for trial Oct. 17.
