ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Broncos defensive end John Franklin-Myers was back at practice Thursday after sitting out Wednesday’s work due to a knee injury.
The eight-year veteran defensive end landed on the injury report after playing 36 defensive snaps last Sunday. He was one of three starters who did not practice or was limited during Wednesday’s work.
While Franklin-Myers was back, inside linebacker Dre Greenlaw remained sidelined with his quadriceps injury. Greenlaw has not practiced since Labor Day lked out on a side field.
“Nothing to update you on. Progress is going well,” Broncos coach Sean Payton said Wednesday.
Nate Adkins also was seen in the stretching period. That was the first time he’s been out there in that period since suffering an ankle injury last month.
Tight end Evan Engram also practiced for a second-consecutive day.
