With Week 1 of the NFL in the books, highlighted by several thrilling matchups, Week 2 is set to kick off Thursday night. Former NFL player and current Bussin’ With The Boys co-host Will Compton is predicting a massive upset, with one Super Bowl contender set to fall.

Appearing on ESPN’s “Get Up” alongside podcast co-host Taylor Lewan, Compton said he believes the Buffalo Bills (1-0) — fresh off an epic comeback win on “Sunday Night Football” against the Baltimore Ravens — will lose outright to the New York Jets (0-1).

“A bold prediction coming straight out of Compton, Greeny — my first one, I’m going with the Jets to upset the Bills,” Compton said.

Compton later retweeted the clip on his X account, writing: “Giving the Mafia the rat poison they need to win a title & fulfill their destiny (some would say).”

The Bills hold a 71-58 edge in the all-time series against the Jets and have dominated the rivalry for much of Josh Allen’s career since he was drafted No. 7 overall in 2018. Buffalo has won eight of the last 10 matchups, including a sweep last season with victories of 40-14 and 23-20.

According to DraftKings Sportsbook, the Bills opened as more than touchdown favorites, but the line has since shifted to 6 1/2 points with a few days remaining before kickoff at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford.

Allen enters fresh off being named AFC Offensive Player of the Week after throwing for 394 yards and accounting for four total touchdowns.

The Jets, meanwhile, dropped their opener 34-32 to the Steelers despite a strong debut from Justin Fields, who threw for 218 yards and a touchdown while adding 48 rushing yards and two scores.
